Announced in March 2022 to be finally postponed in the second half of the year, Marvel's Midnight Suns undoubtedly arouses curiosity. Developed by the studio behind the excellent XCOM games, this title is an opportunity to offer an unusual superhero game.
However, it's been eight months since we last heard of it. Firaxis and 2K Games had indeed presented us with a long sequence of gameplay, before switching to radio silence.
A heavy silence which could mean that Marvel's Midnight Suns could also be a game expected in 2022 which would not be released until next year. Thankfully, the game's rating in South Korea suggests an imminent release of The Hunter, the Marvel Universe's first customizable superhero, and his Midnight Suns.
Firaxis has every interest in playing its card as quickly as possible. On the DC superhero side, we have Gotham Knights, expected on October 25, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League expected in spring 2023.
Marvel's Midnight Suns thus has a great window of action to satisfy fans in need of superheroes. All that remains is to wait for the announcement of a proper release date by 2K Games and Firaxis. The game is anyway normally scheduled for release soon on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
