The State of Play on July 8 was an opportunity to see gameplay from Lost Judgment, the continuation of spin off from SEGA's license phare YakuzaOn PS5, for a release date scheduled for September 24, 2021.
Faithful to what was presented to us with Yakuza: Like a Dragon, this new entry in the license will want to be an RPG apart, putting us in the shoes of private detective Takayuki Yagami.

On the other side of the law
Our story begins with a trial that will play out the plot depicted in Lost Judgment: a body has been discovered in a warehouse in Yokohama, and it is up to our unorthodox private detective to uncover the case. .
An atmosphere on a dark backdrop at first glance, but it's actually bad knowledge of the Yakuza series. We will thus have the opportunity to weave through a vast playing field in order to clarify this affair, through exploration and the meeting of protagonists as charismatic as they are potentially crazy.
We will thus be entitled to different gameplay sequences giving pride of place to platform, infiltration, investigation, street fights, boxing or… radio-controlled robots? As in Like a Dragon, there will be no shortage of side activities, such as a rhythm game which the Japanese are so fond of.
A whole program therefore awaits Takayuki Yagami, ready to launch the investigation on September 24, 2021 on PS4, PS5, but also on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
