As promised, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night welcomes a new game mode via the recent update: Classic Mode.
An old-school game mode, Castlevania 2D style, as if the original game wasn't already close enough to Konami's game.

Un mode « Classic » pour Bloodstained
Owners of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night now have a good reason to relaunch the game. Indeed, the recent update adds a new Classic Mode, allowing you to enjoy a new adventure, with a Miriam armed only with a whip-sword.
The goal is to go through a total of 5 levels without incident, until you reach the naughty Gebel. Everything is deliberately focused on "retrogaming", from the interface to the handling, to get as close as possible to the Castlevania of the Super Nintendo / PC Engine era.
Remember that Bloodstained has also been released in two subtitled opuses, Curse of the Moon, with here a pixelated rendering “like on the NES”.
And if you ever miss a "real" Castlevania, the best thing is to relaunch an old episode of the Konami saga, for example the amazing Castlevania: The Adventure, on this dear Nintendo GameBoy.
