The friendly ball game that is Knockout city prepares for the arrival of its season 6. And with it, there will be concrete upheaval.

It is all the same question of a passage in free-to-play and self-publishing!

Knockout City wants a free future

When Knockout City Season 5 is over - season launched on March 1, shown in video below, and which will mostly be an anthology of all content from the title's first year - Velan Studios' game will enter Year 2. This will not only mean a season 6, but also two very important events for the future of the friendly multiplayer game.

First of all, it will switch from this year 2 to the free-to-play format. A Loyalty Pack (containing exclusive legendary cosmetic items, XP boosts and 2 Holofrik) will be offered to players who had purchased the title.

Then, over the next few seasons, Knockout City will part ways with EA in publishing. Velan Studios will be alone in charge and declares in particular: "We have exciting plans for Knockout City and self-publishing will allow us to fully realize our long-term vision for the game".
