Jade Raymond left Google to create a new PlayStation license

After a whirlwind stint at Google, Jade Raymond has already launched her own development studio. Named Haven Entertainment Studios, this structure will initially collaborate only with PlayStation.

Known for her work at Ubisoft on famous titles like Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs, Jade Raymond subsequently had a string of disappointments. Indeed, Electronic Arts hired him in 2015 to take care of a Star Wars game. Unfortunately, the collaboration ended following the cancellation of the title then developed by Visceral Games. Jade Raymond then decides to work with Google on Stadia in 2019. She will leave there too in a hurry, less than two years later.

A collaboration with Sony

This week we learn that Jade Raymond founded Haven Entertainment Studios. An independent studio working on "a secret franchise". For the moment, nothing concrete has been revealed on the title in question except that it will arrive exclusively (temporarily or definitively?) at PlayStation.

Several veterans of the video game industry already work at Haven Studios alongside Jade Raymond. We may not see the fruits of their hard work right away. Let's just hope that the Canadian producer will manage to break the curse that has gripped her previous projects by managing to release this mysterious game.
