The Dawning event is back in Destiny 2, and with it, more holiday-themed rewards for our Guardians. Players will be able to earn these rewards by baking cookies and completing The Dawning quests given by Eva Levante. One of these quests will reward players with the new Zephyr sword. Here's how to complete The Pigeon Provides quest in Destiny 2.
Pigeon provides quest steps
- Step 1 – Report to Eva Levante at the tower, who will ask you to complete The Lost Splicer quest on Europa, if you haven't already.
- Step 2 – After completing the Lost Splicer quest, you will be prompted to visit Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar.
- Stage 3 – Saint-14 will instruct players to find the Eliksni Recipe in the Eventide Ruins on Europa. Follow the quest marker to an ice cave where you will find the recipe.
- Step 4 – This quest step has three objectives to complete: complete three Lost Sectors on Europa, obtain ten Vex Harpies Eggs, and collect five Glacial Starwort from chests or resource nodes. Objectives can be completed simultaneously.

- Stage 5 – This stage requires players to obtain 15 Dawning Spirit, which shouldn't be too difficult. Players get this by completing bounties for Eva Levante, and they can use the Starfarer 7M ship for a chance to get Dawning Spirit whenever an ingredient for a recipe drops.
- Step 6 – This step has two objectives that must be completed. The first is to collect five Etheric Spirl around the Tangled Shore. Then players can head to Spider and use the 15 Dawning Spirit from the previous stage to purchase the Fallen Smuggler's Kellsdough.
- Stage 7 – Players can now return to Saint-14 which will reward you with the Polycarbn Powder Shader and give you the next stage.
- Step 8 – Now players will need to access the HELM directory map and go to the Eliksni quarters. You will then deliver ten treats to the Eliksni there.
- Step 9 - Players can then return to Saint-14 to let him know the treats have been delivered.
- Step 10 – Now all you have to do is return to Eva Levante and complete the quest to pick up the new Zephyr sword with the Cold Steel perk.
So there you have it, this is how you complete The Pigeon Provides quest in Destiny 2. Players looking to get their hands on the sword and its intriguing perk will want to make sure to complete this quest quickly, as this quest and all its stages can only be completed during The Dawning 2021 event.
