The list of rumors around the highly anticipated Hogwarts legacy continues to thicken, as new information has surfaced as to Avalanche Software's inspirations for this open-world game set in the magical Harry Potter universe.
The YouTuber RetroRaconteur, very aware of the news around the title, split a video in which he indicates having received information from multiple reliable sources.
A wind of magic
If we are to believe RetroRaconteur, Hogwarts Legacy would draw ideas for the level design of its open world from the side of standard meters in this area. He is indeed cited in his video for inspirations such as the legendary action-RPG The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or the solid action-adventure game Sucker Punch Ghost of Tsushima.
Our budding wizard will therefore have the opportunity to visit many unique regions with their own atmosphere, and dungeons of the same barrel. Exploration, combat and stealth will be at the heart of the next title in the hugely popular Harry Potter franchise.
Still according to RetroRaconteur, like Star Wars Eclipse on the narration side, Hogwarts Legacy would also be inspired by the poignant The Last of Us Part II. The ambitious project of Avalanche Software therefore seems to be well surrounded and that only gives one desire: to play it when it is released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. But still it would be necessary to be fixed once and for all as to the date or at least the month of release of Hogwarts Legacy…
