Greatly absent from 2021 Game Awards, Hogwarts Legacy would still show up by the end of the year, at best.

The game set in the Harry Potter universe should have shown itself at the Video Game Oscars, but would finally do so at the next PlayStation showcase.

A trailer for Hogwarts Legacy very soon?

The impatience of the fans begins to mount. Originally slated for release in 2021, Hogwarts Legacy has entered a long radio silence since being postponed to 2022. Every event, every conference rekindles the hopes of the community, to no avail. The Game Awards seemed like the perfect candidate for a standout appearance, and it should have been, according to insiders. According to Millie A, who had made good predictions around the September PS5 showcase, the Harry Potter game was replaced at the last minute by the Wonder Woman teaser.

According to her, the new trailer for the game is finished and ready to be released, but Warner Bros. is struggling for fear of getting mired again in the controversies surrounding JK Rowling and her transphobic remarks. A decision that would be quite incomprehensible given the intense communication around the license to celebrate its twentieth anniversary. Anyway, Warner Bros. would save this trailer well for another occasion: the next conference of PlayStation, which would take place this month according to insistent rumours. If Millie A has been able to be credible in the past, this new information remains to be taken with a grain of salt despite everything, especially since it does not confirm a PS5 event by the end of the year.
