Update : It's now (almost) official, Halo Infinite will be released on December 8th. The Verge journalist Tom Warren confirmed the information in a tweet. We can also see a screenshot showing the famous launch date on the game page directly from the Microsoft Store.

Absent from the Xbox conference this Tuesday, Halo Infinite should however be in the spotlight during this Gamescom 2021. Indeed, Microsoft could take advantage of the German event to reveal the release date of its blockbuster.

Many gamers were disappointed with the absence of Halo Infinite during the Xbox Stream this week. It was finally Forza Horizon 5 that was the star of this evening, but the FPS from 343 Industries has not said its last word... If we are to believe new rumors, Halo Infinite will lift the veil on its launch date in the coming hours.

A nice Christmas present?

According to a Taiwanese retailer and the Italian site Aggiornamenti Lumia, Halo Infinite will be released on consoles and PC on December 8, 2021. Microsoft would have updated its online store database, and this date would then appear. For the moment, it is impossible to verify this information, but we should have the heart of it very soon…

Gamescom 25 Opening Night Live will take place this Wednesday, August 20 at 2021 p.m. Additionally, a Windows Central reporter said, "Xbox fans should be keen to watch Opening Night Live." Barring any last-minute changes, Halo Infinite will be here!
