Due to its close partnership with the hit Paramount+ series, 343 Industries plans to add content from the series to the free-to-play multiplayer de Halo Infinite.

A way like any other to grow the community of the legendary FPS franchise, as indicated by Brian Jarrard, director community manager at 343 Industries at the Washington Post.

The ā€œSilver Timelineā€ joins the main Timeline

Available since March 24 in all countries hosting the SVoD service Paramount+ (but still not in Spain, where Canal+ is the broadcasterā€¦), the Halo series has experienced a real audience record on the producer's platform. This success means a second season is already confirmed, and it hasn't fallen on deaf ears at 343 Industries.

Brian Jarrard has announced that ā€œcontent inspired by the series will arrive in the more or less near future on the multiplayer of Halo Infiniteā€. The idea is mainly to arouse the interest of fans of the series to try the free-to-play formula of the latest title in the Halo franchise.

Because of its game-as-a-service status, multiplayer must host a constant stream of content in order to motivate players to return to it regularly. A maxim which, moreover, recently, has not really been respected to the letter.

Along with still unresolved matchmaking bugs and an economic model that isn't to everyone's liking, Halo Infinite's development is still far from complete. The co-op mode for the campaign has been pushed back to Season 2, and the long-awaited Forge Mode even beyond.
