Hades Wins Game of the Year at GDC 2021

It was during the Game Developers Conference 2021 that Hades, the game from Supergiant Games, got the most valuable award. Indeed, the rogue-like / dungeon crawler won the game of the year distinction.

The Game Developers Conference, or GDC for short, is taking place right now and will end this Friday, July 23. This show (only virtual for this 2021 edition) usually brings together a good part of the professionals of the video game industry. They can exchange during conferences and other discussions. In addition, the major players in this environment also elect their own game of the year.

Thus, it is the excellent Hades which received the prize for game of the year. The Supergiant Games title also won the trophy for best design and best soundtrack.
