After the excellent Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V too recycled for many, GTA VI could get Rockstar out of trouble with a year-end announcement.

In any case, this is what a certain ThatsSoBold on Instagram is saying, who would have
“new sources” regarding what to expect in the upcoming bandit sim.

Teasing in Vice City at the end of the year?

According to ThatsSoBold, the long-awaited GTA VI could be the subject of a teaser announcement between November and December next year. Our new adventures of organized crime would take place in a revisited Vice City, theater of the eponymous game released in 2002. On this point, nothing fundamentally new compared to rumors dating from a few months earlier.

What is new, if however ThatsSoBold's claims are verified, is that the new Vice City could be plagued by hurricanes and alligator attacks, among others. The Instagrammer claims that the GTA VI map would be five times larger than the already massive GTA V map. What's more, according to ThatsSoBold, Rockstar Games could take inspiration from Fortnite, in the sense that Vice City would be change face over updates.

Advances to be taken of course with great caution. That said, on the Rockstar Games side, an unusual maneuver was recently made on its official YouTube channel. The studio has indeed "banned" the keyword "GTA 6" in the comments of its videos. Is this a harbinger or an element totally outside of what interests us here? We will have to wait until the end of the year to find out for sure.
