The launch of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition did not go without a hitch. In addition to a version Switch Strongly criticized for its technical and graphic aspect, the one intended for our dear PCs is also in difficulty for very different reasons.

It's been almost two days since the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition was withdrawn from sale. And to make matters worse, the Rockstar Games Launcher was inaccessible for more than a day. The service was restored this Saturday but the famous trilogy still cannot be purchased or even played on PC.

A five star problem

In a tweet published by the Rockstar Support account, the starred firm finally clarified the reasons behind the withdrawal of the PC version. Thus, the development teams proceed "to the deletion of files involuntarily included in these versions". It is impossible to know what Rockstar is referring to precisely, but according to the Video Games Chronicle site, files related to the famous Hot Coffee mode have been discovered.

Remember that this mode was controversial when GTA: San Andreas was first launched in 2004. It was a sexual mini-game made inaccessible by the developers but which had been found on certain versions of the software by the players. This led to a real political and legal scandal.
