It's already next week Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition will land on consoles and PC. And we now know the free space that the compilation will occupy on our machines.

Last month, we learned that the Nintendo Switch version of the GTA trilogy will have exclusive amenities. For example, players will have the ability to aim using the gyroscope, or adjust the camera and navigate menus via touch controls. But this week, it's the PlayStation version that interests us.

Make some space!

So now we know the file size for every game on PlayStation. GTA III will occupy 5,29 GB, Vice City, 10,76 GB and San Andreas, 22,6 GB. The compilation will therefore occupy approximately 38 GB on Sony's machines. Figures that should be quite similar on Xbox and PC. This may seem like a lot for "three old games", but remember that the Unreal Engine 4 is now used and that the definition can go up to 4K.

On Nintendo Switch, players will be required to download additional files even when purchasing the physical edition. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition will be released on November 11, 2021.
