Just under four years after its release on PlayStation 4, God of War is making a resounding return to PC, allowing players to discover it, or rediscover it, in new guise. A few months before the release of the second opus, Ragnarök, players threw themselves into Kratos and Atreus' Norse Odyssey as soon as it launched on Steam.

The craze has taken on such proportions that the figures have continued to increase throughout the weekend, as shown so well by the data collected by the SteamDB site.

This was indeed the case during the three days that have passed! A first base of players quickly swelled the numbers while two peaks were reached, Saturday and Sunday, with respectively 65 and 403 players connected simultaneously!

Faced with such a success, many then wondered if God of War: Ragnarök would benefit from the same preferential treatment when landing on PC. For the moment, and even internally, we don't know yet, because according to Cory Barlog, director of the first part, he has no idea.
