Announced in June 2018, Ghostwire: Tokyo could soon confirm its release date. The latter would even be relatively close, if we believe a very recent rumor.

Last previewed in September 2021, Ghostwire: Tokyo has so far stuck to a handful of rather low-key appearances. Tango Gameworks' new license (The Evil Within) will follow the same path as Deathloop, initially releasing only on PS5 and PC. Indeed, the temporary exclusive contract signed with Sony had been ratified before the takeover of Bethesda Softworks by Microsoft.

A really imminent launch?

With its release window set at the start of 2022, Ghostwire: Tokyo awaits its final release date. Today, the MP1st site seems to have unearthed a small leak from the PlayStation Store. Indeed, the game's page would have furtively indicated a launch date set for March 24, 2022. Needless to say, the mention has since been removed and the page has even completely disappeared from the store.

At this time, we are unable to verify the veracity of this information. We therefore encourage you to take it with a grain of salt while waiting for a hypothetical confirmation from Bethesda Softworks.
