After a particularly rich 2.4 update, it's time for the next major update of Genshin impact.
Set like a Swiss cuckoo clock, miHoyo has just unveiled the content of version 2.5 during a dedicated livestream.
Yae Miko arrives as playable character, Raiden Shogun as boss
Called "When the sakura bloom", version 2.5 of Genshin Impact will be available on February 16, 2022. We already knew it for many months thanks to several leaks, it will be marked by the arrival of Yae Miko as a 5-star character playable. Type Electro, the priestess of the Shrine of Narukami will have a mini-dash leaving beacons all linked together and an AOE destroying them to make a devastating attack. During phase 2, players can try to get their hands on two 4-star fighters: Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi.
Travelers will be able to learn about Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun, who will be central to the new main story quests. The latter will itself be a boss to face, although miHoyo has already confirmed that it is not Raiden Shogun in person, but rather someone who has taken his features.
New Events, Primo-Gems and Preview of Version 2.6
Version 2.5 will also be the opportunity to take part in the next major event, “Three Realms Gateway Offering”. This vent will be somewhat different from what has been offered so far as players will have to explore a version of Enkanomiya shrouded in unknown darkness. To annihilate the curse, they will have to activate pylons and open various treasures, which will allow them to glean some rewards along the way. They will also get a 4-Star Catalyst, and its Ascension Materials, by completing the event.
Another novelty is the “Divine Ingenuity” domain, which changes according to each player. More concretely, you will have to take part in a race against the clock, the goal of which is to collect as many coins as possible before the end of the clock. Afterwards, players can customize the domain to create their own mini-game by placing the rooms, buffs, mechanisms or traps there as they see fit. They will, however, need to complete their own level before they can hope to publish it.
On another note, another vent will allow the Traveler to become a true bartender by crafting various drinks for customers at Diluc's Tavern. Livestream of the new version obliges, the publisher also shared three new codes to be validated before February 4. Each will earn you 100 Primo-Gems and materials:

miHoyo also previewed version 2.6, which will mark the arrival of a new area of ​​Liyue: the Chasm. It will be divided into two sub-zones, one on the surface, the other in depth. Players will find a new mob there, the Serpent of Ruins, and giant mechanical creatures.
