The conflict drags on between Epic Games and the Apple / Google camp. It is therefore still not possible to download Fortnite from the shops of the two American giants. Fortunately, there will be a way to escape this restriction.

The future is in the Cloud! Xbox has understood this well with its Game Pass and other brands intend to find a place in the sun. This is particularly the case of NVIDIA which made a thunderous announcement this week. From its blog, the firm has given the first details concerning a Cloud version of Fortnite that players will be able to test in the coming days.

As strong as the original?

From next week, Fortnite will be playable on Android devices via the GeForce NOW application, but also on products running on iOS via the Safari web browser. Registration for this beta is now open on the NVIDIA website for GeForce NOW subscribers. This first version will be used to test the capacity of the servers and to check the graphic quality that can be achieved.

NVIDIA will also introduce the possibility of playing Fortnite via touch controls. Other games will benefit from this gameplay in the near future. Note that the beta will welcome new players in several waves.
