First in a series of three DLCs, Far Cry 3's Vaas Montenegro, one of the franchise's most deranged antagonists, gets the ball rolling. He will be joined, later, by the nemeses of the other episodes, namely Pagan Min from Far Cry 4 and Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5.
Journey to the land of madness
Undoubtedly, the Spanish publisher Ubisoft is very attached to its Far Cry license, but it seems to be just as much to its villains. Although the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito, who plays an Antón Castillo reigning over the island of Yara, is at the height of the antagonists of the series, the publisher wants to breathe into his game even more violence and terror with the return of three protagonists.
Thus, from November 16, players who have the Far Cry 6 Season Pass in their possession – it is also possible to buy the DLC individually – will be able to discover the additional content dedicated to Vaas Montenegro, called “Madness “, which will immerse us in the tortured mind of this famous antagonist, played by actor Michael Mando seen in the Better Call Saul series.
Apart from the release date, not much has reached us regarding the content of this DLC. From what we know, for the moment and officially, the objective will be to escape the twisted spirit of the character in a new adventure, inspired by the rogue-lite genre, which gives pride of place action and storytelling.
According to Ubisoft, players will embody Vaas, but will only start with a simple pistol as a weapon. To progress, they will have to glean new weapons and unlock other bonuses to hope to reach the depths of the spirit of the character.
