After a short pit stop, Formula 1 cars will be able to resume racing on the virtual circuits of the next Codemasters game. Indeed, the British studio has just formalized F1 22 via a short trailer and a handful of information.

The Formula 1 world championship resumed last month but we will have to wait until next July to see the cars come out of the garages on consoles and PC. Electronic Arts has unsurprisingly formalized F1 22 (or 2022 if you prefer). For this new version, the Codemasters teams promise us some new features in addition to a menu that should be extremely rich!

Classic and new

On the game's official website, EA has detailed the program that will await players at the launch of F1 22. Thus, the Career and My Team modes will make their comeback. They won't come alone as online and split-screen multiplayer for up to two players will remain relevant. Formula 2 will also be present. The game will also offer "a new model of behavior" on vehicles, new circuits such as the Miami International Autodrome and the F1 Sprint format.

In short, an exciting program that will allow us to immerse ourselves in the combination of a driver or a simple spectator during the interventions of the safety car. Finally, the game will even be enjoyed in virtual reality via Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets. F1 22 will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (EA app, Origin, Epic Games Store, Steam) on July 1, 2022. Early access from June 28 will be available for owners of the 'Champions Edition.
