As expected, F1 2021 today welcomes a new route, after Portimao and Imola.
And it is the Jeddah street circuit that is on board in the new game update.
Jeddah invites itself today in F1 2021
While work is still underway in Saudi Arabia (and the route will be "ready on time" according to the FIA), the Jeddah circuit can already be covered, via F1 2021. Indeed, a few weeks later the update allowing you to drive at Imola, the Codemasters game goes to version 1.13 and therefore allows you to discover (in preview) this brand new route.
Indeed, F1 will visit Saudi Arabia this year for the first time in its history, and it will take place on December 5th. A 6,7 km circuit for the penultimate race of the 2021 season, which could prove decisive in designating the world champion for this season led by Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.
“Our players love the new circuits, and Jeddah is very special because it comes to the game before the drivers travel to Saudi Arabia in December,” said Paul Jeal, Senior Franchise Director F1 at Codemasters.
Note that the 1.13 update also allows the Red Bull Racing team to return to its original colors, not to mention various stability improvements and the correction of several bugs (notably at Imola).
