Elden Ring obviously has multiple endings. Three, to be exact. At least, that's what the game's trophies lead us to believe; there is no doubt that there are some hidden ones! In this new , we explain how to reach each of them.
The three endings of the game go by the following names: Lord of Elden, Star Age, and Lord of the Exalted Flame.
Lord of Elden: Most Basic Ending
This is probably the ending that most players will witness. To achieve this, you just have to follow scrupulously what your servant Melina tells you.
In other words: follow the classic order of areas and bosses without asking yourself too many questions.
Quickly, it will be a question of overcoming at least two major bosses (most often Godrick and Rennala) in order to be able to access the capital Leyndell. Once at the foot of the World Tree, Melina will ask you to find something to burn the brambles that are blocking your way.
Head to the Peak of the Giants to obtain the object of your desire, then Farum Azula to overcome Maliketh, before returning to the foot of the Tree and confronting the last three bosses of the game.
Star Age: The Best Ending Possible
The best ending is obtained by meeting very specific conditions. The path is generally the same as for the end of the Lord of Elden, but requires completing the quest for Ranni, who will also give you the Moonlight Swordfish.
Refuse to follow the Two Fingers and Three Fingers precepts, and summon the witch Ranni after defeating the game's final boss in the World Tree to initiate this ending.
Lord of the Exalted Flame: The Bad Ending
To access this end, you must complete the quest for Irina, Hyetta, and succeed in finding the lair of the Three Fingers which is in the sewers under the capital of Leyndell.
Labyrinthine, these sewers will eventually lead to the Cathedral of the Outcasts, guarded by Mogh the Forsaken. Once this boss is defeated, hit the altar behind him once. A secret passage will open and allow you to descend to the Seal of the Exalted Flame.
Here, talk to Hyetta and remove any piece of your equipment. You can then open the door and meet the masters of the place.
After meeting the Three Fingers and pledging allegiance to them, Melina will leave you, and Hyetta will become your servant. Finally, choose to become the Lord of the Exalted Flame by interacting with Marika at the very end of the game.
Note that if you follow Milicent's quest in Caelid, and defeat Malenia before completing the game, you will get Miquella's Needle. A key item that allows you to suppress the Exalted Flame and eventually gain access to the classic Elden Ring ending.
