Elden Ring: nothing will prevent the release of the title which promises a long life

It's now official and etched in gold: Elden Ring has obtained the sacrosanct Gold status, and there is definitely only a short month of feverish waiting left before you can play it!

Bandai Namco has indeed taken advantage of the Taipei Game Show 2022 to announce the good news that the heart of the development of FromSoftware's next action-RPG is well and truly finished.

Golden ring

As part of a presentation of about fifty minutes, Yasuhiro Kitao, marketing director of FromSoftware, was invited by the editor of Elden Ring to share some details.

This indicates in particular that “the development of the game is progressing well”. Originally scheduled for early January 2022, the highly anticipated title has seen its release date slip by a month, just to be fully refined.

Instead of its release, Elden Ring has thus received the coveted Gold status, indicating that the game is ready to be printed on discs and distributed for sale. Kitao specifies that the remaining month of waiting will be used to develop a day one patch for its scheduled release on February 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Kitao also took advantage of this long presentation to share some information that will certainly interest those looking forward to this game. Note, for example, that it should offer around thirty hours of life to complete the story, but that completionists should have a field day, as in Dying Light 2.

Also expect to have to restart the game several times to complete it 100%, as "different branches will open towards the end of the game". You are now armed for one of the most anticipated games of the year!
