eFootball sinks a little more, Konami will proceed with refunds

The days go by and look alike for this poor man eFootball 2022. The football simulation signed Konami will suffer yet another major delay for its big update which was to be deployed this month…

Earlier in the week, the Japanese publisher confirmed the arrival of the v0.9.1 update for eFootball this Friday, November 5. The patch has been launched and it focuses exclusively on fixing bugs. Alas, very bad news has also just been confirmed by Konami…

A career already threatened?

It was via a press release posted on Twitter that the information fell! The version 1.0.0 update, which was supposed to arrive on November 11, is finally postponed until spring 2022. A consequent delay that has prompted Konami to make another drastic decision. The Japanese firm will automatically refund pre-orders on the eFootball Premium Player Pack. Indeed, it embeds elements that can only be used with the famous version 1.0.0.

An additional blow for eFootball which seems to be badly embarked. And that won't help with the content, which is currently very limited. It's going very badly!
