Financial statements may be boring to read, but they often contain valuable information. Even for the general public – the proof: that of Electronic Arts tells us that many games are planned for its new fiscal year.

In its provisional calendar, intended in part for its shareholders, EA informs us that no less than ten games are in the cards, including four on which it has not yet communicated. Which, for a period of 10 months, is rather busy.

What games are these?

For the next few months, EA Games' release schedule is sewn with white thread. The mobile version of Apex Legends will debut this month, and F1 2022 is due out on July 1.

Then come FIFA 23 – sorry, EA Sports FC – and Madden NFL, followed at the end of the year by a new Need For Speed and NHL. But it is at the beginning of next year that things become more nebulous.

In addition to the already announced PGA Tour, EA lists in its financial report a new game falling within “a major license”, a “title developed by a partner”, a “remake” and another sports game.

Compiling what we know about the games currently in the works at EA, we can assume that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 would be the "partner developed game" and that Dead Space, last reported for release in early 2023, check the "remake" box. It would therefore remain to find what “major license” EA wants to talk about in its document. Ideas ?
