Nintendo is expanding its "games on trial" program
In addition to online play, various price advantages on the eShop, cloud backups and access to a retrogaming catalog, the Nintendo Switch Online subscription also allows, since the end of last year, to take advantage of a function called "Games on trial". This is to offer access to a free version of a game, available for download for subscribers to the Nintendo Switch Online service, and playable for a limited time.
Starting tomorrow April 20, a certain Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be affected. Thus, subscribers to the Nintendo Switch Online service will be able to download the game and play it unlimitedly until April 26. Obviously, the save data will be transferred if the subscriber decides to buy the game once the trial period is over. Those interested can already download this Dragon Quest Builders 2 in order to be able to launch the game tomorrow.
Remember that a "trial game" is different from a demo version, since the player here has access to the game in its entirety, but only for a period of a few days. Once the trial period is over, the game is no longer available.
Note to conclude that Dragon Quest Builders 2 is currently on sale on the eShop, at a price of 35,99 euros instead of 59,99 euros. A promotion that will last until May 1st.
