Deathloop: the development of the game is finally finished

The wait will soon be over! Bethesda Softworks just announced that Deathloop went Gold. A term used when a game has reached the end of its development. Thus, no more reports on the horizon (well normally…).

The course of the Arkane Lyon teams will have been punctuated with obstacles. Indeed, their brand new Deathloop license was initially expected at the end of 2020 on PS5 and PC. The game was eventually pushed back to the second quarter of 2021 with a date set for last May. Alas, yet another delay had upset Bethesda Softworks' plans. The publisher then announced the launch of its game for September 14th.

The deferral loop is finally broken

On social networks, Bethesda tells us this week that Deathloop has gone Gold. This means that the development itself has been completed and the copies of the game are going to print in the factories. Normally, except last minute accident, the Arkane Studios software will land next month.

Presented for the first time during E3 2019, Deathloop will propel us to the island of Blackreef at the controls of Colt. The latter is caught in a time loop and must eliminate eight different targets to get out. But watch out for his rival Julianna who will chase him across the island. Every death will be a new beginning!
