Fascinating but imperfect, the first game from the Spanish studio Out of the Blue will only have known a short exclusivity on Xbox series X|S.
In a tweet posted yesterday at the end of the day, the studio announced that Call of the Sea will be available in early May on PS4 and PS5.
An adventure game for Lovecraft fans
The 30s. A husband who disappeared at sea, an unknown illness and an island that is not on any map. This is the kind of atmosphere posed from the launch of Call of The Sea.
In the great tradition of the Mysts, it will be up to the person at the helm to progress on this multi-faceted island; at first so welcoming and then gradually very disturbing.
Rather flattering for the retina for those who like very saturated colors, Call of The Sea is an extremely promising first game for Out of the Blue. But be careful not to be put off by its protagonist who regularly gets lost in soliloquies, and in puzzles generally sewn with white thread.
Call of the Sea is already available on Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC. It is integrated on the Game Pass, but can also be found on Steam. Its release date and price on PlayStation have not yet been communicated.
