Curiously awaited, the turn-based MMO Broken Ranks gives details on its release, scheduled for January 25.
In a video game landscape where MMOs are all very similar, a new belligerent is always appreciated, especially when he promises to do things differently. This is (a priori) the case of Broken Ranks, which will be released on January 25 on PC (then later on mobile). But there were still several unknowns, including the time of the opening of the servers, and, for once, it will not be necessary to stay up very late to take advantage of the title. Yes, even in Europe.
Two good news for Broken Ranks
First good news: the game client is already downloadable from the official website. If it does not weigh very heavy, it should allow everyone to prepare for the launch. This one will take place on January 25 at 17 p.m. (if all goes well) Paris time. It will be accompanied by no less than twelve servers, including one specially dedicated to the Spanish community: Rylia. Broken Ranks will also benefit from a localization of the texts in our language.
Benefiting from turn-based combat, the title will be distributed in free-to-play and will have a proven economic model based on premium currency. This will unlock optional items, including cosmetic changes or pets.
Players will also be able to spend some of this real money to repair items, although in-game gold should normally suffice. Verdict soon.
