Borderlands 3 welcomes its definitive version

This week, a rumor mentioned the imminent arrival of Director's Cut content for Borderlands 3. The information was quickly confirmed by Gearbox Software since this DLC is now available. To take advantage of it, players must obtain the Season Pass 2 (billed at 14,99 euros) or the Ultimate Edition of the first-person shooter released in September 2019.

The menu of this Director's Cut extension is extensive to say the least. First, a new boss named Hemovore the Invincible appears. This clash is among the most difficult in the game and the developers invite players to team up to complete this quest. Since we're on the subject of quests, new missions tidied up in the story called Ava's Murder Mystery are also on the list.

Other more or less significant additions

In order to address the greatest enthusiasts of the franchise, Gearbox has also added storyboards, videos and other bloopers allowing you to learn a little more behind the scenes of Borderlands 3. The Maps of the Ark is the ultimate category of DLC that unlocks cosmetics and gear through over a hundred unique challenges.

The Borderlands 3 Director's Cut DLC is available to download now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Note that the game has already been optimized for new generation consoles with the possibility of playing it in 4K at 60 fps on the most powerful machines (the Series S version running at 1p at 440fps).
