Real hit of the PS4, Bloodborne stayed in the hearts of millions of gamers around the world. And if many hope for a sequel, Sony would rather work on a remastering of the first and only opus of the license.
In March 2015, From Software launched a certain Bloodborne exclusively on PlayStation 4. In the vein of a Souls-like, the title had pulled out of the game thanks to its remarkable universe and via its ever-demanding gameplay. Alas, Sony Interactive Entertainment has never really spoken about a hypothetical sequel. But the license does not seem to have been abandoned for all that...
Big remastering in perspective?
It is important to specify that the following rumors cannot be verified at this time. We encourage you to take them with a grain of salt. Thus, according to the Spanish insider SoulsHunt, a Bloodborne 2 would not be on the agenda. Instead, a so-called "ambitious" remaster of the first installment seems to be in the works. The title would be released on PS5 but From Software or even Bluepoint Games would not be involved in this project.
We'll have to settle for those meager details for now. This Bloodborne Remastered would arrive on PS5 this year (and later on PC). To be continued…
