After a long radio silence, BioWare is restoring signs of life through a blog post by Gary McKay, general manager of the studio, looking back on its future prospects in 2022.

In addition to the transition to a production mode fully embracing telework due to the pandemic and the studio's desire to rebuild its reputation, this post reviews, among other things, the progress of the next Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

The BioWare adventure continues at its own pace

After a very quiet year 2021 for the American studio, sprinkled concerning Dragon Age 4 with some presentations of artworks and rumors about a launch in 2023, exclusively on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, this blog post gives fans a little grain to grind. Despite the loss of its creative director, the development of the game has reportedly made tremendous progress. Gary McKay indicates in particular that the team in charge of the project has many veterans and is working to produce a solo-oriented Action-RPG, with choices of crucial importance.

Regarding the next episode of the Mass Effect saga, after a hugely successful Legendary Edition, Gary McKay had few details to provide, except that the poster shared during N7 Day has many clues as to to this highly anticipated sequel. We had split a hot analysis of this poster, but no doubt that the most sagacious fans have since revealed all the secrets.

Gary McKay concludes his post by saying he's "looking forward to sharing more information about the studio's future," and until then thanks the fans for being a part of their story. Here you are with the latest news about BioWare.
