Battlefield 2042 victime de review-bombing

Two days after its official release, Battlefield 2042 is subject to a massive wave of review- bombing, in particular on Steam et Metacritic.

The latest DICE FPS indeed records on the rating aggregator site a score by users of 2,3/10 and is one of the least well received games on the Valve platform.

Victim among other things of many bugs and latency problems during the early access launched on November 12, it is clear that the situation has not really improved since its release two days earlier. Despite an update to drivers for PC graphics cards and a patch attempting to fix latency issues, Battlefield 2042 was generally very poorly received by gamers.

We note in fact on Steam that, out of more than 31 evaluations, only 000% of users gave a positive evaluation for the latest DICE title. The finding is hardly more brilliant on Metacritic, with an extremely low score of 26/2,3 and more than 10 negative evaluations on the counter, against 1 positive evaluations.

A score that unfortunately reflects the state in which Battlefield 2042 came out, with assault rifles having a bug on their dispersion and vehicles like the hovercraft reigning supreme, as well as a certain submachine gun PP-29. In addition, many elements inherent to the franchise or to multiplayer FPS in general are missing. DICE, however, announced that an update expected next weekend would aim to correct many of these grievances.

Will this be enough to save the future of the Battlefield license from the tornado of negative evaluations it is undergoing? Only the future will tell.
