Recently, the latest creation to come from the Turtle Rock studio was illustrated in a trailer that proudly highlighted the possibilities offered by PC support. A version packed with visual and performance options whose release has raised impatience around the open beta of the title.

That's good, because Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios have just offered a preview of the content of the title's imminent open beta in a new trailer intended for this purpose.

Content for all tastes

Available from next Thursday, the open beta of Back 4 Blood seems to be moving towards a global approach to the title by offering both multiplayer content in players against players and an overview of traditional campaigns.

Thus, the "Swarm" mode, which opposes two groups of four players, one embodying the infected "Ridden" and the other the humans "Cleaners", in a session of 3 winning rounds seems to represent the largest portion of this beta. Two new cards for this mode will be revealed there as well as the six forms available for the Ridden: Retch, Hocker, Stinger, Crusher, Bruiser and Exploder.

However, for players fond of campaigns, the beta will not forget to offer new content around this classic game mode. Similarly, a new Cleaner can be tried, as can two new cooperative maps and the community center of Fort Hope.

Available next Thursday, August 5, players who pre-ordered the game will have until August 9 to try their hand at the title. However, it is still possible to register for the second beta session which will open from August 12 to 16 and which will be cross-play and cross-gen compatible.

Back 4 Blood is expected for October 12 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC and available, from launch, within the Xbox Game Pass.
