Franchise Dead Space will soon be back on next-gen consoles and PC. It will be a remake of the first opus, and a team of video game industry veterans has been built around this project.

During its EA Play Live on July 22, the publisher Electronic Arts confirmed the arrival of Dead Space first of the name on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC. It will therefore not be a question of a fourth episode but of a remake of Isaac Clark's deadly wanderings aboard the USG Ishimura spacecraft. In addition, new content will even be included in this reworked version, which currently has no release date.

Beautiful people behind Isaac

Let's go behind the scenes of the project, since it is the EA Motive studio which is in charge of the development. Recruited at the beginning of the year by the Canadian firm, Eric Baptizat is the game director of this Dead Space. He's used to big budget games, having spent 16 years at Ubisoft. He was notably in charge of the realization of a certain Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

In addition, Roman Campos-Oriola, also from Ubisoft Montreal, has been appointed creative director on the remake of Dead Space. In short, Electronic Arts has obviously known how to surround itself well for its game.
