Assassin's Creed Origins will soon receive a highly requested update

Launched in 2017, Assassin's Creed Origins is an episode much appreciated by lovers of the franchise. And it is precisely this opus which will soon benefit from an update which should delight players equipped with a new generation console.

It is with this game that the Assassin's Creed license has benefited from a good makeover. Indeed, Origins was the first title in the saga to opt for an action-RPG formula which will then be improved in Odyssey, then Valhalla. Well aware of the popularity of Bayek de Siwa's adventures in Egypt, Ubisoft intends to dust off its baby with a significant addition.

Smoother than ever

During the annual #ACDay event (which celebrates the license and its community), Ubisoft announced that a patch aimed at running Assassin's Creed Origins at 60 FPS is currently under study. Additional information will be communicated shortly. If the targeted media have not been specified, we can imagine that the update will concern the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S versions (via backward compatibility).

Last August, Ubisoft deployed a similar patch for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Seeing Origins benefit from this in turn therefore seems sensible.
