More than two years after its initial release, Apex Legends decides to attack mobile media. Indeed, Electronic Arts has just announced the arrival of its battle royale on smartphones et tablets.

Freshly released on Nintendo Switch last March, Apex Legends will soon be available in a mobile version. It was the American publisher who formalized the news in an article detailing the specifics of this edition. The title will initially benefit from a soft launch in India and the Philippines. The beta will then roll out to other territories throughout 2021.

A revamped version

If this Apex Legends Mobile is to remain faithful to the original, some adjustments will obviously be required… Starting with the gameplay which will be simplified to adapt to touch controls. Other optimizations will also be part of it, especially in terms of graphics and fluidity in general. Despite the posting of some visuals, we have so far seen nothing of this adaptation on smartphones and tablets.

In addition, a new legend has just been announced on consoles and PC. This is Valkyrie, a character whose past is closely linked to another Electronic Arts license: Titanfall. The video above tells us a bit more about his story.
