The future of the Finnish studio will be placed under the sign of the writer Alan Wake. The latter is preparing to conquer new media while waiting for the release of his next adventure in 2023.

This week, Alan Wake is already celebrating his twelfth birthday. For the occasion, Remedy Entertainment shot a short video that gives us some details about the future of the license. It must be said that 2022 has been an exciting year between the launch of a remastering of the first episode and the announcement of a real sequel which will opt for a survival-horror dimension.

A game that stays in the light

The major information to remember is undoubtedly the fact that Alan Wake Remastered will be entitled to a Nintendo Switch version. This is illustrated very briefly in the introduction to the video above. So yes, the fluidity is not there yet since it is a version under development. The Switch edition will arrive this fall in digital format only.

Additionally, a TV series has also been announced. It is the AMC chain which recovered the rights. Finally, as for Alan Wake 2, Remedy does not plan to show the game this summer. However, Sam Lake said that development is progressing well and that a good portion of the title is already playable. Unpublished artworks (see above) were also shared.
