Age of Empires IV battles get two new videos

Always (very) expected for October 28, Age of Empires IV has not finished talking about him.

In order to remember our good memories and give us a taste of GamesCom, Microsoft and the World's Edge studio have decided to release two new gameplay-oriented videos. The sequences are short - 30 seconds each - but will still please fans of real-time strategy games.

Some camel-like Abbasids

The first sequence focuses on battles at sea with the necessary specialization of the fleets. The set is rather pretty, but it is difficult to see if the tactical aspect has been improved in any way compared to the previous opuses and, in particular Age of Empires III, whose naval combats are the most successful.

In a second video, World's Edge highlights the Abbasid Caliphate. The sequence first insists on the mounted units of the dynasty, the famous camel drivers found in shock units and ranged units. In addition, the video also illustrates the House of Wisdom, a unique building of the Abbasids which brings a mechanic of golden age coming to boost the production of the other structures.

As we said, Age of Empires IV is still scheduled for October 28, exclusively on PC. Basically, it will offer eight different civilizations, four historical campaigns and 35 missions per campaign.
