The career of No Man's Sky is far from over since the Hello Games studio has just deployed the 19e free update. But the British developers are already thinking about their future project…

This is not the first time that Hello Games' next production has been talked about. As early as September 2020, Sean Murray was already talking about this mysterious title, describing it as "enormous and ambitious". Since the launch of its galactic exploration game, the studio has also released The Last Campfire, a much more discreet, minimalistic but rather charming project.

The eyes (still) bigger than the belly?

In an interview with the IGN site, the co-founder of Hello Games rightly mentioned this famous unannounced game. He explains: “We've been working on something quite ambitious for some time. It's a small team but we like this way of doing things”. He adds in passing that "like No Man's Sky, it's a kind of project that would seem impossible to realize even if 1000 people worked on it".

A risky method that seems to recall the communication around No Man's Sky before its very controversial launch. Murray still wishes to be reassuring by indicating that he "understood the lesson" so as not to repeat the catastrophic exit of No Man's Sky. Remember that the latter will land on Switch this summer.
