Activision Blizzard: PlayStation fans ask Joe Biden to oppose Microsoft takeover

It's been ten days since Microsoft set the gaming world on fire by acquiring Activision Blizzard, and some do not see this historic event in a good light.

Memes have notably flared up on the situation of PlayStation after this shocking announcement, and some American Sony fans have even come to ask their president to oppose it.

Antitrust you're losing your cool!

The news can still make you dizzy as the announcement of Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard for the colossal sum of 70 billion dollars is unprecedented. The specialized press and the followers of this superb medium no longer knew which way to turn when analyzing the implications and fallout of this veritable bombshell.

Some felt that obtaining such a strike force could grant a virtual monopoly to Microsoft, while the Redmond firm had already rewritten history last year by buying Bethesda. A few days ago, US President Joe Biden tweeted saying he wanted to limit the power of such companies buying out competition to establish greater market dominance.

A PlayStation fan seized the moment by urging the president to oppose Microsoft's takeover of Activision Blizzard, in what she said was an antitrust deal. The competent authorities in the matter had also conducted their investigation vis-ร -vis the takeover of Bethesda.

A user, however, replied to this person by indicating that, despite this takeover, Microsoft still remains below Sony in terms of income in the gaming market. The future will tell, however, what it really is, the takeover of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft not to be fully acted until the summer of 2023.
