At the launch of Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft finally took the opportunity to deploy dynamic themes on the Dashboard of its new consoles. A nice way to customize your game ecosystem a little more, bringing your console to life in ways other than simple static wallpapers. But what would you say if it were soon possible for you to create your own dynamic themes yourself?

Indeed, after the arrival of dynamic themes in the colors of Halo Infinite, or themes placed under the sign of nostalgia, Xbox now seems to want to push the system of dynamic themes even further, this time leaving the players and the players use their talent and imagination.

After controllers, Microsoft will let you create your own dynamic theme

The information comes to us from Tom Warren on Twitter. As we can discover through a short video, it seems that Microsoft is currently working on a brand new tool that will allow gamers to create their own dynamic wallpapers.

The video, originally posted by the Aggiornamenti Lumia account, allows us to have a first look at this theme editor. And as it happens, it has many similarities with video editing software. In particular, we can see the presence of a timeline, assets, tracks (which are 8 in number) and effects of all kinds. Note that this "Xbox Dynamic Background Editor" would indeed be designed for Xbox consoles.

As a reminder, this is not the first time that Microsoft has shown its interest in personalization. Indeed, a few years ago, the American giant already launched the Xbox Design Lab, an online tool accessible to all allowing you to design and customize your controller down to the smallest detail. We just have to wait until Microsoft decides to lift the veil around this publisher, which promises to be complete and friendly to say the least.
