Two devices have already been presented on the Amazon site, with a planned release during the month of September.

A specialist in retrogaming controllers, 8BitDo also knows how to look to the future, as evidenced by the upcoming release of two products focused on Microsoft's latest consoles, the Xbox Series X|S.

Backlit buttons

8BitDo has therefore imagined remote controls in order to be able to control the multimedia functions of Microsoft consoles, and more particularly the streaming services or the Blu-ray player integrated into the machine. There will be two models: a "long" which seems to exist only in black and a "short", for its part all dressed in white.

Both models are scheduled for release on September 15, but the product sheets are already in place at 8BitDo's preferred reseller, Amazon. The "short" version is logically more collected (134 millimeters long against 197), but retains most of the controls. The main ones missing are the numeric keypad buttons.

For the rest, on the two remote control models, we therefore find the navigation and sound management buttons, in particular a mute. There are also the inevitable A/B/X/Y and the view/home/menu buttons. Better, all the buttons have a backlight to remain identifiable in the dark and are powered by two AAA batteries.

We do not yet know if these two products are expected in Spain and therefore we only know the American prices for the moment: 24,99 dollars for the “long” model and 19,99 dollars for the shorter one.
