During its conference to communicate its results obtained during the first quarter of fiscal year 2022, Take-Two Interactive took the opportunity to teaser the imminent announcement of a brand new license.
Financially speaking, Take-Two Interactive has nothing to worry about. Indeed, the American company can count on its sure values like Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2 and its annual episodes of NBA 2K. But, since we are talking about 2K Games, we now know that a lot of things will happen on the publisher's side in the coming days.
A very attractive new franchise?
Thus, Karl Slatoff, the president of Take-Two, announced that his teams will unveil a brand new “exciting license” published by 2K Games in August. Of course, all eyes are on Gamescom 2021 which, despite a completely dematerialized edition, will be entitled to an opening conference orchestrated by producer Geoff Keighley. Major announcements are expected during this event.
In addition, Take-Two Interactive specifies that this mysterious game will be launched during this fiscal year which will end on March 31, 2022. In total, the company plans to release 21 games before next April, including two from well-known licenses. and two completely new ones.
