Dragon Ball: The Breakers finally reveals its mechanics on video

Bandai Namco has released a long 11-minute video that explains all the great mechanics of Dragon Ball: The Breakers, a week after the announcement of the game planned for 2022.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an asymmetrical multiplayer game set in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse universe. The use of assets from the second episode of the RPG series and the possibility of linking its saves between the two games shows it well.

To survive, you must die...survive

If you have already played Dead By Daylight you will not be in unfamiliar territory at all since the principle of Dragon Ball: The Breakers is essentially the same: a player in the game embodies a big villain, called in the game Villain, from Dragon Ball Z (Freezer, Cell...) and must hunt down and eliminate the other seven players on a large map.

The Villain is obviously much more powerful than the survivors and it will take patience, teamwork and ingenuity to escape him on board a time capsule, especially since he evolves over time. party, going from a half-strong character to an ultimate form that will leave very little chance of getting away with it in one piece.

Many advantages on both sides

Survivors will have to use various means present on the map and complete several objectives to summon a time travel capsule, defend it and then leave. You will be able to collect Dragon Balls, obtain the powers of a Saiyan, weapons to slow down the Villain, vehicles to move faster on the big map, etc.

But the Villain will not let it go and will also have his share of improvements, starting as said above with his form evolutions, but also in terms of attacks, techniques for tracking Survivors or even summoning the dragon Shenron thanks to the Dragon Balls and by completely destroying the different areas of the map.

A closed beta test phase will take place on December 4 and 5 with four specific time slots of four hours each. You have until November 30 to register on the game site if you want to be selected to start the beta on December 4 at 3 a.m.
