The American publisher's goose still has a bright future ahead of it. In fact, the franchise FIFA will continue its expansion on different media in the coming months... Starting with the arrival of the 2021 edition on Stadia in a few weeks.
In a long press release published on its site, Electronic Arts returned to the success of its franchise and more specifically to the latest opus to date, FIFA 21. Even if it is already available on most media, the game will land on 17 next March on Google's cloud gaming service. However, EA will not be content to bet only on the main titles of the license.

EA bets big on mobiles
So, we learn that six FIFA games/experiences are currently being developed on mobiles. These are simulations, but also titles with more “arcade” gameplay which should be presented very soon. Electronic Arts also formalizes the deployment of FIFA Online 4 in 15 new countries in Europe including Russia, Poland and Turkey. Online-only gambling is very popular in Asia.
Finally, the publisher formalizes the extension of the agreement with UEFA around the rights of European competitions including the Champions League and the Europa League. To date, the FIFA license has sold over 325 million copies since its move to EA.
