Severed Steel: a closed beta from July 14 to 21 for the acrobatic cyberpunk FPS

Announced last March, the twirling FPS skillfully blending cyberpunk and Max Payne from the small Greylock studio, published by Digerati, is nearing the end of its development and offers a closed beta on Steam from July 14 to 21.

The opportunity to discover the most recent version of this particularly promising title and to help the young studio to offer the most stable experience possible when it is launched later this year.

Front flip in bullet-time on the game's Discord!

If you're tempted by the prospect of humiliating your enemies with Matrix-style gymnastic feats, sprinkled with bullet-time and destructible backdrops, registration for the closed beta of Severed Steel is open on the game's official Discord.

This will offer access to 10 levels of the main campaign, punctuated by arenas that it will be possible to browse again in an Arcade mode giving pride of place to speed and scoring. To get a better score, mutators that drastically change the way you play the game can be activated, and new ones will appear during this closed beta. This will also introduce new opponents compared to the demo that made its debut during the Steam Neo Fest last month.

The closed beta will also be an opportunity to take advantage of changes suggested by the community following the said demo, such as a revised movement speed, a redesigned ATH and a rebalancing of the different weapons.

A must-see prospect for fans of first-person action games sweating speed and style. The final version is expected on PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam), on a date unfortunately not yet specified.
