This year again, EA Sports will offer us yet another football simulation. But if we are to believe the first noises from the corridors, this FIFA 23 coins will feature major new features.

The following information is provided to us by insider Tom Henderson. The latter is generally well informed about games published by Electronic Arts… But we encourage you as always to take these indiscretions with a grain of salt. Already, despite insistent rumors on this subject, the license of the American publisher should not change its name in 2022. Thus, it is indeed FIFA 23 which should be released at the end of the year.

Women's football finally in the spotlight

First news, FIFA 23 will include the Spanish, English, German and American women's leagues for the first time. Others may follow. Also, the women's world cup will be there along with the men's edition. On a technical level, the HyperMotion technology introduced with FIFA 22 will be improved, since the developers have recorded an unprecedented volume of data for this opus. Electronic Arts would be able to capture the movements of players during real matches thanks to stadium cameras.

Finally, and this is undoubtedly the major addition to FIFA 23, cross-play will allow PlayStation, Xbox and PC players to play together. A small revolution for the saga… Henderson also mentions the fact that despite the rumours, nothing indicates that the game will opt for a free-to-play format.
