After learning that next-gen versions of The Witcher III et cyberpunk 2077 wouldn't be released this year, a discreet update to the CD Projekt RED site has drawn up a new, unattractive schedule.

New patches and the addition of free content should make it possible to wait until the expiry of a real Xbox Series X | S and PS5 version of Cyberpunk 2077. But all these additions are also slipping towards 2022.

CD Projekt RED cuts the floodgates until 2022

The Polish publisher and developer has not made much of it, but Cyberpunk 2077 players will not discover any new content on their favorite game by the end of the year. Until then, updates were still on the program, either to fix stubborn bugs or to add content.

We owe this discovery to tipster Tyler McVicker who, on Twitter, noticed a quiet update to the Cyberpunk 2077 roadmap on the game's official website. Yesterday, a new visual was uploaded and now lists for 2022 the "free updates, improvements and DLC" so far planned for this year.

The current version 1.31 of the RPG released almost a year ago in a questionable state should therefore be the last for several months.
