Apart from the announcement of the next game that will take place in the world of the famous witcher, CD Projekt RED has not only had good news to communicate to us lately. Starting with the postponement of the PS5 / Xbox Series X | S versions of The Witcher 3 (which has sold more than 40 million copies)… The studio therefore wanted to catch up by detailing its planning for Cyberpunk 2077 .
Lots of promises and patience
It was through a press release that the vice-president of CD Projekt, Piotr Nielubowicz, spoke. The document informs us that Cyberpunk 2077 will be entitled to additional DLCs as well as a major expansion. This will include a whole new story. In addition, it was also an opportunity to learn that the game has sold more than 18 million units since its launch in December 2020.
Finally, this report reminded us that the American studio The Molasses Flood, which belongs to CD Projekt, is at work on a game taken from a license belonging to the Polish firm. A single-player mode for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game and several unannounced projects are also in the works.
